Pro® 253 is a self-adhering flashing and joist tape with high initial tack and acrylic adhesive.Pro® 253 is ideal for securing and sealing joists, offering protection from moisture or air infiltration in areas such as exterior decks or basements. Pro® 253 acts as a barrier when laying down decking or subfloor, preventing water from penetrating the joists and causing decay over time. It is also useful for sealing joist end-caps against walls or other structures.
Pro® 253 is also useful for installation of wall fenestration products and maintains its performance even after pro-longed exposure to sunlight and rain. Pro® 253 is ideal for seaming of insulation sheets, house wraps and wall boards. It can also be used in seaming or splicing around window frames. Product Applications: Features:
