History
Pro
Tapes, originally founded in 1977 to service the motion picture and
theatrical industries in New York City, has grown to be the largest
supplier of premium pressure sensitive tapes to the entire spectrum of
Arts & Entertainment (A&E). Since the move to our current
facility in Edison, NJ, we have developed a full range of products for
A&E and have become the industry's recognized leader.
Our facility is 'state of the art' with the recent investment of over
two million dollars in new equipment. Our organization now has the
finest product lines, equipment and highly trained personnel in the
pressure sensitive tape industry. We currently serve all aspects of the
pressure sensitive tape industry including: Industrial, Graphic Arts, Medical, O.E.M., as well as Arts & Entertainment tapes, Die-Cuts and Specialties. In the near future, we are budgeting an even greater investment in new equipment and technology.
Our planned capital investment will add new printing and die-cutting
equipment, high-speed slitters, additional medical clean-room
facilities and material handling equipment that will add to our
capability and efficiency. Pro Tapes has recently formed a strategic
alliance with Permacel (see press release) and together have an
exclusive package of Permacel and Pro Brand products for the A&E
market.
Pro will continue to be the best and most innovative company in the
pressure sensitive tape in the industry throughout the new century.
